Based at Rainworth near Mansfield, LJW Plastering are owned and run by Louie Wagstaff.

We provide plastering, re-skimming and dry-lining to customers in and around Nottinghamshire and parts of Derbyshire, covering areas such as Mansfield, Kirkby-in-Ashfield, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Hucknall and Worksop .

Plastering

Plastering is the process of applying a wet plaster mix to interior walls and ceilings to create a smooth, durable, and decorative finish.

Dry-Lining

Dry-Lining is the method of fixing plasterboards to internal walls or ceilings to provide a quick, smooth surface ready for finishing and decoration.

Dry-Lining is faster, more cost effective and better for tight deadlines. However, plastering gives better durability, a better finish and a superior finish, but it takes longer to dry. It also works better with curved surfaces.
